Later on tonight or tomorrow (depending on your time zone) Jupiter moves into the constellation of Taurus. Jupiter governs wealth and education while Taurus governs the material comforts and luxurious lifestyle. As you know, the symbol of Taurus is the Bull, the same Bull being used as the representation of Wall Street. Jupiter can increase our level of wealth and he can also give us a new understanding of abundance.
All planets affect our mind, but the ones that affect it the strongest are Jupiter, Ketu, Sun and Moon. They affect our mind, our consciousness and our ability to entertain new ideas and learn. During Jupiter's transit into Taurus all four of these planets end up simultaneously in Taurus, allowing Jupiter to teach us about wealth consciousness as opposed to poverty consciousness.
Two simple ways to connect with Jupiter are lighting a ghee lamp and repeating the mantra "Om Gurave Namaha"
on Thursdays.

The day is actually called Akshaya Tritiya. So, Happy Akshaya Tritiya! This year, Akshaya Tritiya, falls on April 23rd or 24th, depending on your timezone. It is one of the most auspicious days of the year in terms of wealth and prosperity. What makes this day so significant
On Friday, March 23rd is the beginning of Navaratri or Navratri (the Nine Nights or Nine Moons) celebrating the Spiritual Spring Cleansing in the form of the Female Energy or Shakti. Festivities take place for nine nights and 10 days throughout the world with different regions following their own customs.
Sunday, February 19th 2012 is Maha Shivaratri (the night of great Shiva). It is one of the most auspicious nights in Vedic Philosophy.
During this Vedic month of Aadi, July 15th to August 15th 2011, the Goddess energy is very prominent. Last week’s full moon (Guru Purnima on July 14th) laid the foundation by helping us overcome our self-imposed limitations. The Goddess power, Shakti, benefits all human beings equally, without any gender barriers. Fridays are considered the best days to benefit from this Goddess power or Shakti. So the following four Fridays, starting tomorrow are dedicated to a form of the Shakti power.
Sunday, Monday, Happy Days.
